Morning Star Academy is a premier youth football academy in South Africa, dedicated to developing the next generation of skilled, disciplined, and confident footballers. Based in Skeerpoort/Hartbeespoort, we offer elite football training programs, professional coaching, and a structured environment designed to nurture technical ability, tactical understanding, and personal growth.
Through certified coaches, modern football development methods, and a strategic partnership with Millstream Preparatory School, we provide young players with the tools and guidance to succeed at school, in local competitions, and at higher levels of the sport. At Morning Star Academy, we focus on youth football development, talent identification, and creating opportunities for aspiring players to reach their full potential.
Our Football Programmes
Mini Stars
Ages 5 - 7
The Mini Stars programme introduces children to football in a fun, safe, and engaging environment, focusing on basic motor skills, coordination, and ball control. Through playful drills and small-sided games, young players develop teamwork, listening skills, and a love for the game.
Rising Stars
Ages 8 - 11
Rising Stars builds on the fundamentals with structured training designed to develop technical skills, decision-making, and understanding of game rules. Players start experiencing match situations while enhancing confidence, discipline, and creativity.
Shining Stars
Ages 12 - 15
The Shining Stars programme focuses on specialized skills, tactical awareness, and competitive match experience. Players refine techniques, understand positional responsibilities, and develop mental attributes like focus, resilience, and leadership.
Future Stars
Ages 16 -19
Future Stars is our high-performance pathway for aspiring professional players. It combines advanced technical and tactical training, strength and conditioning, and competitive match exposure to prepare players for elite club trials, scholarships, and professional careers.

Common Questions
Registration Process
Registration is a once-off fee, followed by monthly payments. We offer discounts for siblings and for advanced payments of 3, 6, or 9 months.
Training Schedule
Training takes place twice a week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, depending on your child’s age group.
